Rental Terms & Cancellation Policy

Scope

These Rental Terms apply to all vehicle rentals, and — as relevant — to yacht charters and VIP services, booked through Ibiza Best Car. They complement our Terms & Conditions.

Driver requirements

To rent a vehicle, the driver must hold a valid driving licence and meet our minimum age and licence-holding requirements: minimum age [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car] and minimum licence tenure [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car]. A valid ID/passport and, where required, a valid driving licence and payment card in the driver’s name must be presented at hand-over. Additional drivers must be registered and meet the same requirements.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required for vehicle rentals. The deposit amount depends on the vehicle and is shown on the vehicle and/or during booking; specific amounts and the pre-authorisation method are [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car]. The deposit is returned after the vehicle is returned in the agreed condition, subject to any amounts properly due for damage, fines or breaches of these terms.

Insurance and excess

Vehicles are provided with the insurance cover required by law. The scope of cover, the excess/deductible payable by the renter, and any optional cover are [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car]. The renter is responsible for damage, loss or third-party claims not covered by the applicable insurance, up to the agreed excess or as otherwise provided by law.

Delivery, collection and fuel

We can deliver and collect the vehicle at your villa, hotel, the airport, a marina or our showroom, as selected during booking. Fuel, mileage, tolls and cross-border/territorial limits [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car]. The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time, place and condition.

Use of the vehicle

The renter agrees not to:

• drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or allow an unauthorised person to drive;
• use the vehicle for racing, off-road use, sub-hire, transport for hire, or any unlawful purpose;
• take the vehicle outside the permitted territory without written authorisation.

Traffic fines, penalties and tolls incurred during the rental are the renter’s responsibility.

Cancellations and refunds

As rentals and charters are provided for specific dates, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. Our cancellation terms — including any deadlines and amounts that are refundable or non-refundable — are [to be confirmed by Ibiza Best Car]. To request a change or cancellation, contact us as early as possible at info@ibizabestcar.com or on WhatsApp. Where a refund is due, it is returned to your original payment method.

Yachts and VIP services

Yacht charters and certain VIP services are subject to additional conditions (crew, itinerary, weather and provider terms) that our team confirms with you when arranging the service. Weather or safety-related changes to a charter are handled in line with the operator’s terms.

Force majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control (for example extreme weather, accidents, or official restrictions). In such cases we will offer a suitable alternative or a refund of amounts paid for the affected service.
